Yes, I AM wearing a polo shirt, ill-fitting khakis, and one of those tour guide headsets but its broken so I’m just yelling.
Yes, I AM walking backwards the entire time even though we are not really moving through time and space.
Yes, people DO party in the Void States but we mostly focus on strange energy shifts here so don’t worry too much about your kids.
When you enter the Void Realms, you exist in one of three states:
The "Nothing Excites Me Anymore" Realm: for those existentially bored baddies The "Everything Is Too Much" Reality: for the didn’t-know-i-could-be this burnt out burn outs The "All Dressed Up With Nowhere to Go" Zone: for those with enough potential energy to power a Whole Foods but struggle with action
We don’t limit our void citizens and you can wander between voids or if you’re really an over achiever, you can hit all three in an hour.
Wait, just saw a hand, what’s your question?

What happens when you don’t fit into any of the void states?
Okay, well, pshh, if you’re not interested in our intense spiraling and introspection (derogatory), you can exist in the Chillin’ State™️ where you are simply existing.
Okay, okay! Hyper-specific college tour bit over! 😇
I’d like to introduce you to my friends, my foes, my always-existed-but-recently-put-into-words: The Void States.
WTF is a Void State?
A void state is a state of being, a series of spots on the intuitive’s emotions wheel, or a vibe you are feeling when someone says “vibe check.”
Unlike your birth chart or your Subway order, the void states are not fixed. You can float in and out of voids depending on the day, hour, and which way the wind blows.
Instead of trying to put you in a box and label you, we wanted to create a plane of existence that easily describes how you often feel as a creative, intuitive person and how Holisticism can help.
Please don’t misunderstand — sometimes a Void State is meant to be vibed in. Sometimes the point is to hang out in that energy for a while (hey, there’s something to be learned in every realm!)
But, occasionally, sometimes, maybe you’ll find yourself with the skittery urge to cut and run from the energetic cytoplasm you’re suspended in… in which case, we’ve created an all-you-can-eat Vegas buffet of tools and strategies to help you shift from one realm to the next.
What are the Void States? Read on…
Uninspired Void: The "Nothing Excites Me Anymore" Realm
This void state is for my friends that are feeling more stuck than an ATV driven by a 13-year-old into a ditch in a corn field, more lost than the plot of Lost (2004-2010), and so uninspired you’re wondering if a worm ate part of your brain.
If you feel like “nothing excites me anymore” or “I’ve replaced any crumb of free will with doomscrolling on TikTok,” you might be in the Uninspired Void.
From here, you have two options:
Trust that, eventually, Stella will somehow get her groove back
Do everything in your power to create the environment for Stella’s groove to re-enter the chat
Neither option is wrong or right. More of a personal preference.
If you want to start to crawl out of this realm, we recommend:
adding a bit of magic to your day — think Tarot spreads, birth chart explorations, or a hot date with the I Ching
observing and tweaking your patterns in a morally neutral way
figuring out what the heck ya believe in

Overwhelm Void: The "Everything Is Too Much" Reality


If you feel like you’re too busy to be burnt out and every time you close your eyes you see your email inbox like a mid-aughts tv screen with an image burn, you’re probably vibing in the Overwhelmed Void.
NGL, The Overwhelmed Void ain’t for the weak. In our experience, you can’t operate in this space for too long… but you can “function” in it for a while. The question is, why would you want to? Living in a state of constant overstimulation, anxiety, disorganization, and reactive emotion is not fun, not efficient, not inspiring, and not sustainable. Boooo! Hissss!
That being said, sometimes it be like that.
Sometimes life comes at you fast, and you have no choice but to tread water while you try not to drown. Occasional overwhelm is inevitable in our ever-changing world, but it doesn’t have to be your baseline.
To fine tune your time in this void, we recommend:
Getting RUTHLESS about every. single. thing. you do. Less Marie Kondo, more Swedish Death Cleaning.
Figuring out your motivations. What are your values? What’s working for you? What’s not?
Creating space for rest that is more than just getting high and watching Vanderpump when you hit peak stress levels
Building systems that streamline your life and work, direct your energy more potently, and keep you honest before things go off the rails

Ready-But-Stuck Void: The "All Dressed Up With Nowhere to Go" Zone
You’ve made 17 example Squarespace websites. Hoarded so many good URLs, “just in case.” Played around in Canva making logos for longer than you’d care to admit. Branded, and rebranded, and rebranded, and debranded yourself too many times.
You’re ready to do something but… what?
Sound like your sitch? You’re likely in the Ready-But-Stuck Void. Life is not meant to feel like a red light so long you’re worried that maybe the sensor didn’t pick up your car (are street sensors even a real thing, or just urban legend?).
When you’re in this position — head too full of information, decision fatigue monster on your back, analysis paralysis demon haunting your sleep, “know enough to be dangerous” as a life motto — you can either keep yourself in an athletic-ready position or you can employ a forcing function to generate some sort of change.
Again, either option is fine. Morally neutral, even.
To fine tune your time in this void, we recommend:
Creating a universe of offers that align with your business AND your life
Working on your tangible biz skills like copywriting and research
Simply going for it. Flopping is better than staying stuck in wasted potential

Not everything is a void! You are not always a problem that needs to be fixed (tbh most of the time you aren’t). Sometimes you are just 😎 chilling 😎
What does one do in the Chill State?
(Side note: if you’re asking yourself this, you are prolly not in the chill state)
So uhhh, my sibling in christ, you chill! Like make dinner or have a good ole brain rot scroll on social media or draw realistic eyes in a college-ruled Five Star notebook.
The chill state is the perfect time to explore a new hyperfixation like the meaning making system, Matrix of Destiny, OR House/Wilson fanfic on AO3. Those in the chill state live their truth and see all tasks as morally neutral.
