I turned a chance and fated encounter into my one and only love for a time and wrote him letters I needed to write to myself, to receive myself, told myself secrets by pretending to confess to him, and he happened to stay there and be such a skilled listener he sampled more and more recorded poems and we dreamed up potential collaborations across disciplines and I read every biography of a musician he suggested and there is no better education than that which teaches you to follow creative gusts before they fade, to where they falter and past that, as an ensemble, a pair of souls trying to meet without grasping and undermining on another’s sovereignty, there is no greater way to love.

You’ll see more and more from us about the void states (here’s a quick run-down) but we wanted to provide a lil anchor or antidote to the listlessness you are feeling.

1. If you feel like “nothing excites me anymore” or “I’ve replaced any crumb of free will with doomscrolling on TikTok” you might be in the Uninspired Void. This one is for you!

Q1 in the North Node thus far has been all about technomancy, storytelling, and showing up online in away that feels more like talking a coffee shop than kicking a hornet’s nest.

In February, alongside uncrossing calls, we are hosting the workshop: Internet Myth-Making and Sagrado Storytelling. No, the workshop does not include how to go viral or tips for filming b-roll of you pretending to type on your laptop a la Barry Keoghan in Salt Burn.

It's about turning your random post dumps into carefully crafted digital grimoire entries. Think Joseph Campbell meets Joan Didion, but for Instagram. We’ll talk about how to think about, develop, and write your lore or personal myth. And of course, we’ll dive into how how to use your stories to move your message forward. Think less "day in the life" and more "Homer but with a ring light."
